When I lock my door from my driver side the passenger side locks too like usual. However, when I try to unlock the door there is no response on the passenger side. This just happened out of no where yesterday. I'm thinking maybe it was too hot. Anybody know what the problem could be? Anybody out there experience this also?

I had the same problem with my old S13. The passenger door wouldn't respond to locking, but would respond to unlocking from the driver's side.

I thought it was just a short in the circuit somewhere. I'm not sure if there is a separate fuse for the unlock option. I don't have a solution for you,  so my post is completely useless. I'm a waste of cyberspace.

Mine started doing this same thing 2 days ago. Does anyone have an answer? My drivers door lock will lock the passenger door but not unlock it. It looks like it moves the lever slightly. I am wondering if I need to get in there with some oil and lube it up? Please help!

i just had that problem fixed, but with the driver side door. i would lock it then unlock it with the power lock but wouldnt be able to open it on the inside. i had the dealer check it out and it was the lock actuator. that may be the same problem with your door. hope that helps.
