Try the dimmer switch. thats what i used.  all you need is a voltage indicator(one of those cheap ones)and try all the wires out to see which one gets power when the lights are turned on.  Same with the ground except there should be no power showing.  Its as simple as that unless youre talkin about something else <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':look:'>
