s14 Help my car has got a bad gremlin!!!

Ok here's the problem:
Car: 1995 240SX

-I was walking to my car 3 weeks ago, used my clicker to unlock the car and hopped in, went to turn the key...NOTHING, i mean no working clock, windows, all power gone.

- I figured the battery was just dead? , so i jumped it and no problems.

- Got the battery checked at Autozone just in case, everything was fine.

- Same problem occurred 2 days later, so i checked my ground for the battery. (I had relocated it to the trunk a few years ago)

- Ground wire had a bad connection so i replaced and regrounded to new spot on frame.

- Worked great for about 2 weeks, then back this morning...did same thing... no start or power to anything!!! ....but came back out 30 mins later and started right up like a new car!!! :/

- Checked the ground for the battery again and everything was tight.

- I cant figure it out!!!!, Is there another major ground that I should be checking?? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

when you unlocked the car using the "clicker" it unlocked the car? but when you got in it nothing worked?
does your alarm have a starter kill?

No alarm, just the factory "clicker". So no kill switch.

-Car even attempted a start, then just Nothing. Everything just cuts off.
--Also the car doesnt blow any fuses when it does this.
- And again the car did fire right up aprox 30 mins later...just unpredictable...scares me to drive it since it cut off on me for a sec when i was driving it too ...but then right back on. Odd stuff when you're doing 90mph and then car just cuts off and turns right back on...and that w/out me starting it back up...just a quick on-off-on again.

Ideas??

Where and how do you have the negative hooked up? Ive seen people actually connect it on the frame, some even used the spare tire retainer thing. Try connecting it to that after you strip the paint off the contact.

Double check the connections on the battery and make sure theyre clean. Also check the main power wire from the engine bay and make sure thats good.

I'll check it again when i get home from work today.
-I know the connections on the battery terminals as perfect, just redid the ends on them a couple weeks ago since the ground wire was a little loose on its connector to the terminal.
- I have the Ground connected to an existing grounding point in the trunk where the trunk latch is located, im sure its a ground for the tail lights.
- I did sand the spot around the existing ground hole so the connection is def good. And i mean it was working great in that spot, i cant think of why it would just randomly start giving me crap.

--I'll check the main power wire, but wouldn't that cause a few fuses to blow if the main wire was grounding out?

Thanks for the quick feedback guys!!

Well i think i may have found the culprit. I unwrapped my positive wire that is in the engine bay, and where the wire that hooks to the battery and runs to the engine bay main positive ...the bolt was kinda loose that holds the 2 sets together...tightened up and ready to roll, i hope that was all it was.

Thanks again though!
