Leaky Injector

2 part Question.
Down the road Im going with a KA24DET setup and it looks like upgraded internals are needed for anything higher than 7 psi boost. Im looking to get up to the neighborhood of 15-20 psi. I understand the connecting rods and pistons will need to be upgraded to accomplish this. First, is there anything else that will need to be upgraded to sustain the pressure? Im talking about the block itself and not the injectors or anything like that. All 'accessories' would be done. Second, do you have to pull the engine out of the car to change out the pistons and rods?

Definitly get forged pistons and rods! Get your head worked on a bit too.

Take the block out of the car, its not that hard and will save you work. |
