There is more to just those 3 things that I dislike about the car. To me it's just not an everyday car. I would love to keep it and use it as a track car and what not, but I don't have the money to do so. Maybe it's just the S13 style I'm getting sick of, but I don't want to sell the coilovers and get stock suspension, which I already have lying around.

Hey guys! This is my real username, it just got banned for a while do to my brothers stupid decision to go on my name and mess around with people. But I'm back and I finally have my pos. rep again! woo! Anyways, I got another offer for a 1992 S13 with Megan Racing coilovers and a Blacktop SR with 70k on it with a t28. Looked nice, but no. Is 70k too much for an SR?

No, I'm not planning on getting that S13 at all, I was just wondering if 70k was a lot because my friend is interested in getting it and seeing as how mine only has 38,XXX, 70k kind of seems like a lot.

I honestly am not into SR's, so I couldnt tell you...but somebody will chime in here and tell us...But i think that as long as the turbo is still good...has good compression on all 4 cyl. then it would be fine

Haha. Yeah, I searched and 70k miles isn't too bad. So my friend wants to go take a look at it.

Funny story. My friend and I were really bored one day so we decided to call a bunch of dealerships and ask if we could test drive some cars. And seeing as how we aren't 18 they said that we would have to have a parent with us. So we kept calling and calling and eventually we got it so that a few places would let us test drive the cars. So we went over a Volkswagen dealership and I actually got to test drive an R32! Haha. I told the guy that my parents were rich and that they were buying me a new car and that they told me to go and find something that I liked. I told the guy that they would be in the next day to pay in cash. So, off to the next place we went; Mitsubishi. And I told the same bullshit story to the salesman and he took us out for a ride in an Evo MR. I was so stoked and this car was so fast! I finally convinced the guy to pull over and let me take it for a spin and it was amazing! After that we went to Subaru to try and get them to let me drive an STI, but they said that STi's are too rare and that they weren't positive if I could drive good enough. I didn't like that guy very much, haha. That was a pretty good day, and thats why I love test driving cars, lol. Sorry for the off-topic story, but yeah.

Haha. I told you it was a random off-topic story about test driving; I was bored last night at 2:30. But no, I searched and found out that the SR is fine with that many miles on it. I was just wondering if 70k was a lot for that motor, but I found my answer. Thanks though!

Yea..we discovered that...lol...but oh well...i think he's going back and forth...undecided...

Here he has what he's done...HIS work...SR swapped, and dropped...just needs paint....

And here he has a S14 that is stock besides exhaust if my memory is correct....

So he's like every other person when they go to trade or sell thier vehicle they put their work/money into...But i understand that

Well I had a lot of fun driving my S13 yesterday, haven't driven it like that in a while...the kid with the S14 lost the title and now has to get another one, so I'm backed up another 5 days. This gives me more time to think about what I want to do. I'm going to price out all the parts I need to "finish" the S13 and see what I can do money wise. It could be a very nice car..Idk haha. I'll let you guys know later about what I came up with for pricing and stuff! Thanks again!

Paint and wheels? You really dont need either...as you have a SR under your hood...So your halfway to having a really nice car

I guess you're right, there really isn't a lot to price out. Wheels, paint then just some other random stuff, sideskirts, maybe a whole body kit. Hmm, maybe it's less than I thought it would be.

LOL...yea...wheels can make any car look good...So even if its in primer and you still get wheels you'd love it....also, id look into the roll on paint...I havnt seen it done in real life...But do some research through MOPAR, they did a real detailed article on it. So about 2k will make your car SWEET!

well I'm still waiting to here from the guy with the S14 about the title..but in the mean time I've talked to my parents and they might be helping me finish my car. They said that they would like to see me finish it since I've put so much work into it already. Seeing as how I work 2 jobs, I do make quite a bit of money, so they said they might be willing to lay out the cash for me to finish my car... (paint, body kit, rims, cf hood, wide-body fenders etc...basically whatever I would want to do to it) But I would just have to pay them back over-time. This is just an idea floating around, but if I can do it then I am definitely going to finish my car! I'll let you guys know when I hear from the guy with the S14!
