I am sorry to say, but I do not like the tail lights of the 240sx too much... I was wondering what are nice conversions done to the taillights..., i am thinking of skyline, ferrari type (two round lights)... any suggestions? and pleaz do not come and start saying mean things, this is MY OPINION....

S15 like your sig pic! I have an extra set for sale. Hehehe

I do not know if they would fit too well though, since the trunks of the previous Silvias are kinda skinny. If you have a S13 Fastback I would get the R32 Skyline ones that came with them in Japan.

Actually I dont like the tailights of s15 either, I have a s14, I am leaning towards a FERRARI type tail light conversion

Anyone have the link to that "ferrari" taillight conversion for s13's? It was goofy as hell looking, looked like 2 pairs of nipples on the back of the car. There is a kit for sale though.

Yea i no of it jaquemond or something, it was ungly, I want mine to come out and be like "bulbs" like real ferrari lights, not just covering over the regular lights... if you think that Ferrari would look ugly give suggestions...

Hmmm since the S14 is not really a hatchback, I think that Ferrari conversion would not look to good, it would just look like the R33 Skyline.

I feel the same, I do not wanna change the taillights, and be one of those "ricers". I would like to somehow make the lights look better....

I like the ings rear bumper and side skirts...

And the s15 front end conversion, what would you guys recommend to make the taillights look better? I do not like them really......

I do not know what type of tails you can get, since the trunk lid holds the middle part of your taillights. Not many options.

RX7 lights would not go to well, since your taillights area is flat, and these lights are rounded. Unless of course you make the whole rear look different entirely.

Only taillights I can think of that are flat are:
98-02 Honda Accord Coupe
91-03 Acura NSX
92-97 Toyota Supra
91-97 Toyota MR2
All Skylines and Silvias.

Or maybe perhaps a spoiler to throw off your attention to the taillights?

here's a thought. don't put another car's tailights onyour car. that's sick. same goes for headlights. if i see TL headlights on your car, heads will be busted.

i saw this 2nd-gen MR2 in super street with S15 headlights on it... holy god, that was THE ugliest show car ever.

I would get some 95-96 tails and do some custom work on them (vinyl, paint....whatever)......

or you can just get the supra taillight conversion.......

I'm with the stock look.. but if you must, try the Skyline r33 4 door tail lights. they are shaped like the 240 tail lights, but much bigger..

but if not go with s14a tails.. much cleaner.. if u have to, do soem custom work to cover them with vinyl and paint

I'd keep it stock. S14's have unique taillights, why mess with perfection

i think it would be interesting to see what you can come up w/. If i were you i wouldn't listen to these people who complain about you trying to make your car look like something that its not. You're swapping taillights! Its not like you're puttin a new shell on the frame. As long as it looks good then that's all that really matters. They are lights.

edit: oh and by the way, there is a differenent ferrarie esque tail light mod then what jaquemod makes. The lights actually pop out like the real ferrari but if you don't have the rear bumper that comes out around the lights then it just looks like you got some big tits stickin out the back of your car. Or as someone once put it a long time ago "cajun fried tits" or something like that. Some of the older members will know what i'm talking about.

Those are nice but he has a S14. Except for the skyline lights all the lights he listed came from hatchbacks, they would look goofy on a s14 coupe.

i was thinking of the same thing (skyline lights), because i got the r33 front... but when i found a set of skyline r34 four tail lights they were going for like 800+... so i decided to get the 95-96 tails off a friend, FREE swap .... they're so much cleaner

who cares if APC makes tails for the s14.. which, btw, won't happen. they'd make 240 hatch tails before they made s14's.. higher demand.
imho, euros are disgusting.
