sweet car/build. in your original post, it says you were building a drag car but now it looks like you are building it to be a road course/time attack style car. i approve of the switch. it is an absolutely beautiful engine bay. i love rgII's as well. please post specs on the motor/turbo setup.

Nooo... The original owner intended it to be a drag car when i bought it. I had every intention of it being used for HPDE's and TT events from the begining. :-)

What a horrible build; crappy parts, shoddy craftsmanship, and complete lack of vision.

I hate you.

Good thing its not a coupe, I'd hate you even more.

I like the wheels, first time ive seen RGIIs on a street car.

Looks real good chris, how long will it be before I see this cruising around the burg lol. Front end is probably gonna scare somepeople. That was a good idea. Ed showed me pics of the wheels and stuff, but I think this is first time I've seen front end.

This about hits the nail on the head.

super gross. dzus fastener sideskirts is king of formula D crap tune.

RGs would look good with a spacer... and without vertex... and without crap hood.

kouki 180sx aero and the car looking clean would make the RGs look right.

Meh, who the fuck cares if it's real Vertex or not? Chances are its just going to get all fucked up anyways. Id rather replace an $80 wannabe Vertex bumper than an expensive ass real one. Something tells me he isnt building a show queen...

dzus fasters are there for a purpose, not to copy some trend in formula d i was unaware of. I want the ability to be able to remove the side skirts quickly for track days, so I can jack the car up quickly and easily.

I'm not some bandwagon fanboi, if i was I'd do what you suggested, you know they same thing everyone else and there mom has done and run stock aero, cause thats so awesome.

Fuck that, I built the car the way I wanted to build it, purposeful. It'll be used as a track car, not a show car, not a drift car, not a drag car.

I'm not going to run spacers, because I'm not going to run a smaller tire than whats on there. If anything I'd run a bigger tire, esp. in the rear. I'm all about wheel fitment, if you've seen any of my pervious cars you'd realize this.. But, this car is serving a purpose, one where smaller tires are a limiting factor on performance.

Anyway, thanks for the input :-)

No offense but dont let chris' low posts fool you, hes the godfather of nissans around the Mid Atlantic area and def. not a bandwagon hopper or import tuner kid. Everyone who knows anything about nissans knows chris or of his work around here. And knowing chris this car is going to be everything he says it is.

You are welcome to your opinion of his car though.

Dzus fasteners suck, and look like 1in holes in the body kit, which is why it looks like dick.

use zipties or screws like the rest of the planet, if you're taking your sideskirts off and on to work on your car you need to get rid of that truck jack your using.

Am I not looking at a picture of a white car with ebay Vertex? because I am looking at a paragraph about being original.

again, I'm seeing a car with a body kit and super ghetto Bomex wanna be angry eye thing on it... and then seeing a speil about purpose.

put the popups back in and the stock hood. if you cleaned up your car so everything didn't look so trashy it would probably look like a white yashio car and subsequently not like total ass.
