and the brake pad wear seems normal, I have Z brakes with slotted and crossdrilled rotors and the pads (Nissan OEM) are still thick, like new.

larger diameter rotors = better stopping is not entirely true. you can only go so big. going too big will offset the brake bias of the car. the front will absorb most of the force than the rear, which will make braking worse. stock on the 240 is around 75% front and 25% rear.

the Z brake upgrade is the perfect choice if going for better brakes cause it doesn't need upgrading the rear for proper balance, to an extent. it'll probably be even better with the rear Z brakes.
