June 16, 2007 - I ordered a Garage Defend GT cooling panel for my 240sx. Of course knowing it was a special order item I allowed time for my order to arrive.

July 18, 2007- I take it upon myself to check on my order since I have heard nothing about it since it was ordered. Drew tells me he sent me a email on that very day(july 18) which read:

"Price increase is due to a huge worldwide shortage in Carbon Fiber.
We were not aware that Garage Defend had increased their prices... normally
we would have opted to obsorb the cost, however the increase is dramatic so
we are not able to do so."

So why did it take four weeks to tell me this? I asked for a refund.

Fast Forward to today - I have yet to recieve my refund.

The price of carbon fiber has increased a while ago. Not exactly sure when, but it has been months. The military is buying it all up. The cost of most metals has gone up also.
I have only ordered one thing from them and had good service. Try calling him again and see whats going on.

It was Boeing that bought up the CF that raised the prices. Just a heads-up.

I have, he has never returned my calls. Catched him on im and he told me he would look into it. Just playing the waiting game.
