Does anyone make linear springs for the standard strut/shock?
The stiffest I've heard of is the 5Zigen R Rate...and they're progressive. Are they the best I can hope for? I'd love to go with a full coilover setup. I had my heart set on some JIC FLT-A2s, but then I realized averaging 30K miles a year makes that simply impractical...I'd have to rebuild full-blown coilovers like every year. They'll just have to wait until I can retire the car to the role of autox/track whore. So now I'm planning simply on the stiffest conventional springs I can find and all new polyu bushings...and start working on the engine/turbo stuff. I'll probably end up buying my Dad's Ford Ranger or something else cheap for a daily driver/tow vehicle before it's over with. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> Are the 5Zigens the stiffests, and if so, who sells them? |

5Zigen dosent sell them anymore for our cars. To bad too, I loved mine that I had on my old hatch. Maybe see if Ground Control will make you some custom liner springsm that way you will also have an adjustible suspension setup. If they wont do a liner setup then have them do a progressive setup. I like progressive better anyways even for racing.

KGMM makes linear springs.
Right now, I'm running a set of KGMM S21 Supersports on my S14, and they seem good. http://kgm.co.jp If you're in southern cali, you can try ordering from shinestreet.com or jspec.com

I just remembered about the kg/mm's. I bet those would work.
But the link doesn't work. |
