do you hear the noise if you depress the clutch slightly or full depression?
if so from what it sounds could be a possible throw out bearing. but its hard to tell unless more is described |

Mine does it too, the clutch feels fine though. its just a squeeking sound when I push down and let it back up. I can't hear it over the sound of the engine, only when the cars off and I push the clutch in. Could anything get damaged by not being lubed properly?

that sound only happens when I push it all the way in, When it comes back up there is no noise, just when It reaches the bottom, like when I am coming to a stop and I press it all the way down, its like a lil creaking noise, like an old, greaseless door creaking open.

Mine does that too, I have been told that it's the clutch's throw out bearing. It is not normal and it can cause serious problems after a long period of time. I am about to get the clutch changed out. Anyone interested in trying to get an ACT clutch groupbuy going? I am in and I will take charge looking for a good price if anyone else is interested. The cheapest I saw has been 25% of the MSRP on ACT's site.

actually after re reading your post and seeing the new ones i doubt its your t/o bearing. you would hear more of a grinding noise.
i just changed my clutch bymyself some 500 + miles ago and i finally drove my car after its been sitting for winter storage check and see if your bushing in the clutch pedal is good and also just lube the spring like fourg63 said |

I also had that problem in my old car, but ignored it and after awhile the spring went out right in the middle of traffic. Had to get the guy behind me to use his car to push it over to the side of the freeway. Most likely it's the spring, so check it out or you might get stuck like me.

THAT SQUEAKING SOUND: lubricate the ball your throwout bearing lever pivots against. Motorcycle chain lube in a aerosol can works very well, and won't fling off toward your clutch. Just make sure you don't spray any on your clutch when you're lubing the lever.

its not anywhere near the clutch guys its inside the car. and its not the t/o bearing nor the shaft.

Ahh yes, it can be that, but I suspect it is the ball of the t/o lever. Whichever, poke around the car until you find it.

has anyone fixed (changed) their throw-out bearing? I have this sound with my pedal too... sounds like it's coming from the spring or something, i can't see exactly because sound is invisible, but it's totally anoying, specially when i got a lady in the car...
is changing the TOB hard? is that even my problem? (squeek when clutch goes in and again on the way out)
