Man so let's see what we have from you so far.

1) Goes to a 240SX forum and tells a 240SX owner that premium gas is not recommended by Nissan.
- WRONG.

2) Tells 240SX owners that the Altima Engine is the same as the 240SX engine.
- WRONG. Go find me an Altima with a KA24DE from a 240SX, better yet, find me a 240SX with an Altima engine. If they're the same engine, it should be an easy swap, just like how you can swap between an S13 KA24 to an S14 KA24.

3) Disregards the fact that MOTORTREND, a highly respectable magazine was quoted by GRASSROOTS MOTORSPORTS, another respectable magazine, for being CORRECT about shifting the KA24DE early to make the best times.
- FAIL

4) "Drifting is gay" in a 240SX forum?! Does not see the advantages of drifting as a motorsport and as something for the industry to cultivate and grow?
- EPIC FAIL

5) Tells 240SX owners who PAY insurance for a 'SPORTS CAR' by the insurance companies that they don't drive a sports car. How would you know? You don't drive one!
- GO TO THE FAIL BOAT AND SAIL AWAY!

Why do we have to listen to anything you say again?

Damn it and this whole time I thought I was pimping it in a sports car.

Wait I am, there's no backseats, Yay.......

Backseats are gay.

Just like OP.

OP goes pee pee when he go drifting.

Who corrects people's grammers and then spells shit wrong themselves.

What an idiot.

I bet bare blocks are similar, but I doubt fuel injectors/cams/tuning/etc. are identical.

3 pages, fuck guys.

To the OP, search or leave.

To Iceman, leaving wouldn't do the forum justice. You need to videotape your own suicide so we know you're dead and can enjoy it for years to come. Before you do though, go back to your fag pals at NICO and tell them you got your ass handed to you for trying to prove the retarded shit they spew over there.

4. I didn't fabracte those numbers. And Until you can come up with anything better, I'm going to continue to regard you as an idiot.

It is not the same engine just because it uses the same block dumbass. The altima has different cams, probably different compression (not 100%sure on that one), different intake manifold, and different fuel and timing curves in the ecm.

Default, Shift at Redline, and Shift at power peak. Guess which one had the best accleration?

Time to 100ft
Redline 240sx (shifting at 6500rpm) 3.3
Default 240sx (shifting at optimum shift points) 3.3
Pre-Redline 240sx (shifting at 5500rpm) 3.4

Time to 500ft
Redline 240sx (shifting at 6500rpm) 8.9

Pre-Redline 240sx (shifting at 5500rpm) 9.1

First:
Define Sports car for me!
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_insurance_companies_define_sports_cars

Calling the 240sx a sports car deludes those words as a whole, and Adds cars like the Camaro, Mustang, and G35 to the definition. The 240sx is considered a GT car (as is the 911 Turbo) having more than 2 seats.

http://www.answers.com/GT%20car

Calling the Altima an Economy car is also correct, considering the size determines it’s a midsize car. If you base it on engine, than you risk putting the 240sx in the same category. So what is it?

Next

“What is the value of drifting to anyone?
Force manufacturers to create affordable RWD vehicles is one.
I want to see this new RWD car made because of the popularity of Drifting
Answer this Question. What car(s) currently in production was made because of drifting popularity? The Solstice and Sky were not made because of Drifting; they were put into drifting as advertisement. Nothing more. And until you can PROVE that these cars came about because of this “motor sport” I will continue to point out how much of an idiot you are.

“can you simply take a motor out from the maxima or altima and just simply swap it into the 350 or g.....if you can then shit i will retract my statement put a public apology and i'll go out and buy a 350 with blown motor for cheap and buy a wrecked maxima for cheap and BAM...cheap 350z....i'd be balling...LOL”

Internals and Parts can be interchanged between the two. Of course FWD to RWD layout plays a role, but you are a complete idiot if you believe that the 4th generation VQ in the G35 Sedan is different than the 4th generation VQ in the Altima/Maxima. Just the same, the Block casting for the Ka is different, but they are in fact, the same motor. I even posted proof of someone using a 240sx ECU in an Altima, Altimas using the same aftermarket camshafts as 240sx, and internals.

so an mitsubishi evo loses to a chevy cobalt in time attack hands down???????/

Well, according to your friends here, the because the Cobalt was used in Time Attack, it was obviously MADE solely based on doing that. And yes, The Cobalt cleaned house, even beating the GT-R and an Evo. Eat it.

“3) Disregards the fact that MOTORTREND, a highly respectable magazine was quoted by GRASSROOTS MOTORSPORTS, another respectable magazine, for being CORRECT about shifting the KA24DE early to make the best times.
- FAIL”

I ran a Simulator, and PROVED that shifting at redline is fastest. All you came up with was an old Article that is not even relevant. Know why?

Motortrend and Grassroots weren’t even talking about the KA24DE in that article, but in Fact the SOHC version! Read it again. Idiot.

Like I said, I’m right you’re wrong.
