I wanna know about the gas gauge too. Seems like a pretty good idea to make a wholle new setup, but a gas gauge is a must!!!

Guys, just go look up Broadfield's post in this very same chat section. He posted a bunch of detailed pics of his interior and everything. He has a digital gas gauge located somewhere else on his dash according to him and if Im not mistaken, that Defi HUD can display a speedo as well.

Thank you sir! Yes, the main function of the HUD is for my speedo. It will display in kmh or mph. It will also display any other gauge I have in metric or imperial.

Here is a couple pics of the fuel gauge on and off, and few other with my new wheel and DCC swap.

That is probably the nicest/cleanest S13 interior I have ever seen hands down. I want a digital climate control thing now. And a cage.

Broadfield,

Do you have any pics of how you made the pod for your center A/C vent? I am getting ready to make mine and i was wondering where you got all the parts. Looks like abs plastic and some gauge rings cut and glued? Or did you fiberglass from the back? Looks really really nice! I love the interior. What seats are you using?

Scott

PS. On the DCC dont you have to have a sensor or something?

For the center gauge pod I used some scrap aluminum I had at the shop. There is a also a guy on ebay that sells them. It's free to make my own, so no sense in paying for one. I then purchased the angle rings from Summit Racing. They come in a pack of three. I used SEM Texture Coating to paint all of the pieces separate. I then used SEM Landau Black paint for the finished color. Then just use the gauges to sandwich the rings to the back plate. The hardest part is coming up with a ultra secure way to mount the pod into the vent opening. You could hang from mine, but it is too difficult to explain what I did to secure it without pictures.

The seats are OEM recovered in black suede and leather.

The DCC has lots of sensors!

Thanks for the help!! I thought you had those Summitracing Autometer rings. I bought the same thing for my setup. However I might try and fiberglass mine in. Looks awesome on the finished product. Where did you get the finishing paint? Matches interior perfectly. A body shop? And that is a great idea for the stock seats!! I assume you had a local shop do it cuz i havent found any seat covers yet for our stockers. I am going with Status for the driver's seat and i dont want to rock the stock cloth pass seat. Might have to look into prices locally for that. Thanks again for you input. You have the cleanest S13 interior i have ever seen period.
