Would you use 2.5" or 3" piping on an Red Top SR20DET?

3" or a little larger. bigger=better (on a turbo car) nothing larger than 2.5" on an N/A car

I would use 3", like MisterT said the bigger the better, but not to big because that could cause turbulence in the piping and that would actually slow down the exhaust fumes causing you to lose power <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> Thats why 3" is a happy medium, unless your turning it into a drag car get that <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

For cars running any kind of Forced Induction, 3" piping is always recommended.

3" at least and of course have it mandrel bent

yeah, like they said, for turbo, the bigger the better for less lag n stuff, but if u go 2 big u can scrape, make unnecessary noise. 3" is really the best.

today i learned that you should clean fingerprints off your exaust befor you run your car or they will become permenent

gh6o6, thanks for the tip. If I didnt hear that my N1 dual would be ruined when i put it on in a few weeks. =)
