I am relatively new to the sr world, having been a fwd drag car honda guy for the last 10 years or so. I recently picked up a 2 sr20det blocks. I plan on getting one together and running quickly to learn about the setup, install, and just drive it for a while. The second block I plan on building in to a reliable drift /race car motor. I am a pretty good welder/fabricator and plan on making my own intake manifold and top mount turbo manifolf for the second motor. I am having trouble finding places to buy the flanges as well as plenum parts and injector bungs. Anyone who could help with this would be great. I can find the exhaust flanges pretty much everywhere. Thanks,

make a template from the existing intake mani. flange and take it to a machine shop. they should be able to cut you just about any flange that you need. as for the injector bungs, from what i have seen and heard most people keep the runners and just make a custom plenum. but once again, as long as you have the specs that you would need the pieces machined to you should have no problem finding someone to make them for you. good luck and hope this helps.

rossmachineracing.com unbelieveable site. im doing a manifold for my CA to use a q45 tbody for about $150. fuel rails. everything. check it out dude. im pretty sure thats the site, if not google it. i love when people actually want to make their own stuff.

or you can buy my intake mani and then you will have the necessary flange. Cut it off and tig weld it! (trying to sell my crap obviously...)
But in the event that you dont want another stock intake manifold, I GUESS you could do what those guys want. However you wont get the satisfaction of having me benefit from it.

I appreciate the info the ross site is helpful. Still would prefer someone who already has flanges made up. Machine shops around me are geared towards muscle cars and tend to be very unhelpful when you say it is for a four cylinder. Anyone else have any info. Thanks,
