ok, this morning i noticed a fat ass puddle of water in my trunk. i took the panel off my hatch and saw 2 rusty holes where my spoiler is bolted on to (i have a '91 hatch se with the stock spoiler). i figured that's where the water is coming from. my question is, is better off just getting a new hatch or should i just seal it with something? and what should i seal it with?

you should make sure to remove the rust first with a steel brush or something....  I'd seal it with silicone, but someone might have a better idea.

yeah, definately silicon or some other caulking stuff like you use in the bathroom.
