someone is selling me this turbo . hes asking $350 , here is the description
This is a hybrid t28/t3 turbo that was specially built by SSAutoChrome for small engine applications, you will not find this anyplace else. This turbo has very quick spool up time and a lot of power. All Greedy internals in this turbo. It has never been used and has just been staying in the box since i got it.

This turbo uses a t28 flange to connect to your header. It is internally wastegated, automatically set to 8psi but can be ajusted. Max boost on this turbo is rated at 30 psi. i so not have all the original specs from when it was first bought. I can tell you the exhaust housing is the t28 side and the air comproser is the t3 side of the turbo.

You should have just put this with your other turbo post...
Also, I seriously doubt the internals of that turbo are GReddy (what i think you meant to type) manufactured.

+1 on the doubting.

greddy doesnt actually make their turbo's... they're mitsubishi based ones, they just build them to greddy's specs.

...that...and i'd never trust an ssautochrome turbo.

if it is a T2 exhaust housing shoudnt it have a 5 bolt outlet flange?

i have a greddy turbo and nothing on that turbo looks anything like greddy.

Agreed. SSAutochrome is crap all across the board.

The only product that they make that's worth a damn are their exhaust manifolds. That's only if you're on a strict budget and take the proper precautions (reinforcements).
