HUGE LOSS OF POWER! Codes 11, 21, 33
91 S13 5sp
So attempted the 248/248 cam swap and it never ran correctly at all due timing issues i believe After much confusion as to why my car never ran right or up to par with the 248/248 cam swap i switched back over to stock. After switching back to stock it ran the exact way it did when i had the cams installed! So I decided to pull my codes to find out whats goin on. Symptoms: - wont rev past 6k rpm (If i try to rev it to redline it just goes to 6k and dies down to 3-4k then goes back up to 6k) - NO POWER!!! (Cant even do a burnout/power brake or enjoy my welded Diff!) - LOUD ASS INTAKE!!! (its louder than my exhaust leak at my cat) - Slight Misfire/Hesitation between 2.5-3.5k rpm Codes: - 11 [Crank Angle Sensor Circuit] - 21 [Ignition Signal Missing in Primary Coil] - 33 [Exhuast Gas Sensor] I dont know to much about 11 or 33 (is that just another name for O2 sensor?)...but regaurding code 21 i have a a MSD Ignition Coil, NGK Plugs and Wires! Are you sure you installed everything correctly? At TDC, were the lobes on the cams facing out-away from each other?
