ok i have a problem.... YES AGAIN!
2 studs broke off on 1 of my axels....... it sucks... i dont know how but i think some fucked me over... the other 2 lugs were loose so i think someone loosened them...... and the weight of the car and stuff snapped it cuz all were loose.... does anyone know if our studs can be changed or do we have to replace the whole axel? i think i know who did it too... i have the special inverted nuts where you need the star key wrench to open it..... |

www.jspec.com has Nismo replacement lugs available. I'm not sure what the pricing is on them though...

most cars u can replace a stud, some u have to remove hub to replace, some u can sneak out without. sorry i dont know answer specific to 240. most good auto parts stores sell wheel studs....try to bring em one to match up (might as well remove a third one to match up since u cant drive til its fixed).
lug nuts can loosen on their own....once one loosens the others often follow leading to your prob. do u "torque" your lugnuts?? original wheels to OE-specs, aftermarket alloys to 90 ft ibs.....very important! |

Drifterx,
The studs on our cars are arbor pressed in to the hub. You can bang the stud out with a hammer. Remove the caliper and rotor to expose the hub. Then use some penetrating oil to loosen the stud then tap it out. I recently had to do this when one of the lugs became x threaded on a stud and snapped it. -Matt |

Hey I don't know whether it's your front or rear studs, but I have a set of eight I can part out for you. They're originally from a H&R spacer kit that I didn't have to use.

That happened to me before. One of my lug broke off. I brought my car to MAVIS discount tires and they fixed it on the spot for $30. They put in a new lug.
