Ray - good shit, some of the new Halo 360 editions have the 65nm cpu, means it runs cooler. Check the box where the bar codes are for the Lot# 734 is the lucky number to have, but not all updated yet. How much did you pay?

Legendary is awsome to play, it gets me so frustrated sometimes. When I got the game me and 2 friends finished it on Legendary. I finished it on Heroic by myself and Im goin back to finish solo on Legendary.

I watched prison break and heroes yesterday too LOL. I love heroes its such a great show. I used to think that prison break was epic, till this season Its getting better though.

I paid $600 shipped with no tax on it. Figured its a bit cheaper if I bought all of it seperately. Only shitty part is i wished I can have it before this wk end. We got a Typhoon coming this way and getting locked down on base with nothing to do sucks.

Last night was the first time I got to play since last week. I really wish they would bring back Ascension and Lockout. I hope they do a retro map pack for DLC, I would buy it.

i hate most of the new maps. i think halo2 had much better maps. i really like narrows and the pit. otherwise...they suck. fuck snowbound i hate that goddamn map, epitaph sucks. sandtrap is alright. i kind of like gaurdian. i dunno maybe im just not used to them yet.

I was talking about this in another forum(!blasphemy!) The new lockout remake is ok, but doesnt have that same linear lockout feel. I would love to see Ascension, the original Lockout, Ivory tower(my favorite) , even Beaver Creek. Im hoping they really do release a DLC map pack with the old maps, like I said I would even pay for it. This is the ONLY M$ game I fully support, everything else is a backup

I really like highground the best out of all the new maps. The online play on most the other maps are limited. I hate that you cant choose what type of match you want to play, or you cant host your own custom games for people to see. They should do it XBConnect style or Battlenet(might be more familiar to bnet reference) style.

I miss zombies on H2. Man looking back at the images of the Halo2 maps, A lot of them were perfect. Hopefully something changes in H3

I hate that too... I normally hit up the lone wolf games and end up in a match of crazy king or oddball when I just want to play slayer

My favorite type so far has been the 4v4 game, first team to 5 points wins. Get that with a good group of people on voice comm and its a blast.

that's funny cause i HATED Halo 2..the dual weilding setup and maps were horrible. I just played a 4 on 4 lan game last night on Halo 3.. it was super intense. The maps are fun and easy to play on even for newbs..unlike Halo 2 which was way too confusing. I think the overall package has improved and it's the best Halo yet.

well, i didnt find halo2 confusing at all. and the only time i really ever dual wielded was smg/plasma rifle. and i didnt rock it very often.
and the maps were, well, much better i think. ivory tower was the shit. lockout, ascension... all were great maps. the hangem high remake was awesome too.
like i said before, i dunno what it is about some of these maps but they just suck. and your right about one thing, they definately made it easier for the noobs.

also, does it seem like grenades have no radius??? its like people walk through grenades like nothing. i liked it better when people were rewarded for making good grenade throws.
and somethings up with the sniper too, sometimes shots dont register. ive heard of a lot of people complaining about this so i know im not the only one.

im not saying i dont like it. i love it. but some of the maps need a few tweaks.

sniper shots and melee registering seem to be a bit iffy when there is alot of action on screen.

My usual "bullet bullet bullet melee" only works about 70% of the time. Also one hit melees dont always register.

u need to hit them exactly from behind. i know wat u mean sometimes when somebody's sniping i come up from behind and they might turn ever so slightly when i hit them that i dont get the kill. just pop a couple of shots on them after and they're done.

YAY I got my shiet today...but umm...is it just me or I cant change the gawdamn controls?!?! I play boxer style and I have yet to figure out how to change the damn controls from default. I keep tossing grenades at myself...

Awsome ^^ I'll hit you up for some games. The best way to learn is when you are in the action. If I just walked through a map with no one around I wouldnt remember where anything is.

I have to agree with skater, and no offense to anyone. The new maps and such just arent that great. Lockout, Ivory tower, and some others were setup so strategically and thats why it was so competitive in Halo2. I dont see it so much in H3, but its still a great game.

Man so many good games and such little time. Orange box is out tomorrow aint it? TF2 looks sick, I cant wait

Mine is S14. After a couple of days of thinking of different tags I was DUH how can I forget S14. I was trying to come up with one that started "H8" but didnt know what to put after lol.

As far as the split goes, I dont think bungie would just get up and leave their biggest money maker out in the cold. Im sure there will be some updates and even maps in the future. From what I remember their contract with M$ is up so they wanted to leave and not be only M$ exclusive, which is smart of them. M$ does hold the rights to Halo though and hopefully they dont fuck it up.

i think the old maps are available already(just not out on the marketplace)... they just want to make mor emoney off of it. so in a few months, they will put it up in the marketplace for everyone to buy.

i have the elite, and even using my friends samsung 42 1080p with the hdmi connection. even at that clarity... when you change up your colors to coordinate with the maps, you are pretty much camo'ed. throw down a radar jammer and you can sneak up on people pretty easy.

yah mine is s14 also, i dont think ive seen another s14, but i have seen r33, and s13 a few times. im sure if microsoft did want to make another halo theyd contract bungie to do it, i think theyre smart enough to know not to mess with success.

Ive survived without the taking cover action. It looks cool and all, but if someone were to come up close there would be that delay of getting out of cover and then action.

yeah, there is a delay in gears but they did have the same feature in rainbow six without the delay.
