does anybody know if you can use the transmission harness and sensors from the sohc s13 tranny in a dohc s13 tranny. will it connect straight up to the lower engine harness?

Yes, same exact transmission. You didn't even try to search. You'll have one extra plug on the DOHC unit for the 4th gear switch, leave it loose.
