NO pics, but I got it hooked up like redtop said, and there's oil film in the container already. I just hooked it up today. I didn't really have alot of options on runing the hoses due to alternator and rad belts and throttle cable. But I managed to let it sit down between the battery and rad hoses. I wonder how long it will take before I have a small puddle lol. I mean when I took the old breather hose off, drops of oil literally ran out. No telling how long that built up.
At first I was thinking my car felt slower with the catch, then it felt slightly faster, but I think its all in my head lol. Tach stayed steady at idle like norm, and exhaust is still clear. So so far so good. So long as my motor is running slightly cleaner I'm happy. |

Hey there anyway I can harm my motor by having a catch can hooked up between the intake tube and the valve cover. I mean according to the arrow on the compressor filter I used as a catch, the flow of things should go from the valve cover to the intake. I was trying to ask a friend of mine about his catch can on his civic, but he questioned why I needed a catch can and said I should just put a breather filter on the valve cover and yada yada
![]() All I was trying to find out if it was mroe harm than good. I read with a breather filter eventually oil and stuff seeps out on the motor. Right now I hooked things back up the way they were before the can to see if the catch can was hindering performance. If theres no difference, I'm putting it all back on and waiting for a response from you guys. Thanks |
