Does anyone have any comments on any of the following intercoolers? I would really like a Apex-i GT Spec or Greddy spec V for now but i'm not sure whats better. I will be pushing around 12psi. Thanks!

HKS has a great intercooler out and it's the S-Type. Your going to probably have to have it imported but in Japan its about $800 with piping and everything. Its a great FMIC and will get the job done, unless your gonna do alot of serious racing with huge turbines. This will be great with your stock turbine and most bolt-on aftermarket turbines.

Good luck with your decision making!

anyone know where to get intercoolers for CA18DET? I've seen some of the Japanese sites that have them and Norris Designs but anybody know any American import shops that have them/can get them? thanks

Ian, I would also just try the US counterparts of these companies. I'm pretty sure Apex-i has a intercooler kit for the CA18 and it could be purchased through the Apex-i US branch. You would just have to talk to them and special order it. Also, I am positive Greddy makes a FMIC kit for it in japan, i'm sure they would be more than happy to import it for you. Thanks for the help, I will probably go with one of the greddy kits.

I've got the greddy on my SR its a great pice very nicely put together and iirc greddy USA has actually started stocking the things here in the US so its a little cheaper. remember to order your kit for the ENGINE not the Chassis. (ie if your engine is a non vtc red/blacktop from an S13 order one for an S13 is you got one out of a S14 then order an S14. otherwise pipes dont match Throttle bodies ) yes I know this from personal experience

well I will have to order it for an SR20DET, but also for my chasis (RPS13) so it will fit both. But yeah, good point. Thanks again guys.

both will fit either chassis its all about where the cold pipe points to the Throttle body
