2nd sure the Ca ecu is 8bit but with some mod An SR or Rb series ECU will fit., 3rd Ca18DET also came in with Early S13 silvias, sure it's old and maybe crappy to u guys with all the money and shit, but do some researh and will find out that Sr did not intend to replace the Ca in anyway but Cost effective!!
Sure a new Exhuast manifold is needed with aT28 turbo, i'm not gonna keep the original 1, head and internal is pretty strong and it can keep up easily to 300hp point , head gasket is teh 1st thing to go, easy fix then the fuelpump and injecter..i used to have this engine B4 i moved here to the US
so i'm pretty familiar with it.,..all i need was opinion not flame!!

Did you even read your own thread, it was hi-jacked by the first reply. Everyone is talking to autodestruct about what a crappy idea a ca18et swap would be. BTW you would not need a new ex. manifold for a t28 turbo on a ca18det.
