The only reason you would need to repin the cams, is if you wish to use an exhaust cam for your intake cam, ie. you want 248/248 cams instead of 240/248.
I did the cam swap this past weekend, and it was fairly straight forward. An FSM helps a bunch, and the only other thing I needed was a tube of permatex ultra-black liquid gasket.
Just make sure the engine is at TDC, and you'll be all good.
The FSM recommends re-shimming the cams, but I did not. Others have not as well and haven't had any problems.
