Oh, yeah.. shoulda been clearer.
The lube isn't to help the monoball during operation,
You just need it to get the monoball moving during break-in,
and cool it off as you break it in.

Don't leave the lube on there when you run it,
it just grabs and holds dirt that messes up the bearing.
