east coast cars are LAST IN LINE to getting good quality parts from overseas. besides folks like estevan and russ, i dont see to many special cars from the other side of the US. if anything, the problem us west-coast 240 owners have is that people fuckup by doing TOO MANY modifications. then i see these cars that are slapped together and dont even run right.
most people in jersey have a new car with a intake/exhaust and think they're all that or a really janky project car, like a stockish 240sx with a sr20det. there are a handful of nice cars roaming around, though.

all that considered, i don't know anyone who'd put a car together that looks like this one, so let's be fair
