Question What Color Would You Paint Your 240

If you could change the color on your 240 what color would it be?

Same color my car is now...Blue Emerald (FN2). It's mainly green, but has shades of purple and blue at certain angles...only available on the 95-96 models.

I wanted Starfire Blue (BN6), but after seeing the new front end with new paint I decided to save up and recoat the car (after getting a bodykit).

i would go a blue or a green, man i havnt looked at paint samples in forever, but i would most likely use house of kolor paint, and make it all pro, but i am happy with my plain old black, the reason i didnt do what i said above is becuase i want to draw the least attention to myself, thus why i never purchased a body kit...

"Black Rose", I've only seen it on one car (a neon hahahahaha), it looks metallic black 90% of the time, but when the light hits it just right, it looks deep DEEP crimson (barely). By far the coolest color I've ever seen, very low key, and none of that pearly crap.

i want either a really lushish candy apple red, simple green (same color as a crayola crayon), or midnight blue...Color made by a local paitn shop, it's black with a blue hue to it. looks nice.

for now i'm fine with my maroon and black primed car.. hahaha

dude that one is nice as hell too...but i would like the base to be a light blue with the candy apple green over it, and then the million coats of extra hard clear...that way i would never have to worry about scratches going through the clear, i could just buff all the scratchs out...man i hate scratchs so much, no matter what u do you still get scratches...its so irritating...

EDIT...on a side note...got any pictures of a s14 with camo...haha...i would be curious as to what that would look like...

well, i'm soon to be putting on my body kit, and having my car painted... and i'm in need of a new color. my car is blue now, but i think i want maybe a s15 blue, or a dodge viper blue. if you guys could, could ya post some darker blue colors on some s13s? and do you have a clue how i could get some paint codes from the s15? thanks.

you can goto a collison shop and ask them from the paint code for a s15, doubt they would have it tho, you could also find someone online with one and ask them for the paint code, just look tho paint books you should be able to find one the same pretty easily...

on a side not, my car is all super shiny in the below picture but the wheels are all grimmy and full of brake dust, it looks all funny...just thought i would mention that

Edit* Pink haha, i should have painted mine pink with neon green slime, like half and half...then i could be a real "tuner"

Your best bet would be to look around at other vehicle manufacture paint coeds. I think the Maxima has a similar paint color you are looking for

I love the cobalt green pearl my 97 is now, don't get me wrong... I'd paint it the same color in a second. BUT... I've always been fond of grey, silver, and white (not 3 colors goin' on at once though)

Couple OEM colors I like: northstar white from Mitsu (dunno the Chrysler name for it) Kind of a very very light grey, tectite grey from MB, BAYSIDE BLUE *drool*, hmm. .gawd there's a lot of 'em...

I LOVE the starfire blue, and in keeping with the blue color... I'd have to go for bayside blue over all those... overdone in a skyline maybe... BUT... =)

If I were to repaint my car I have now, I'd just give it a coat of factory metallic red. I'm not as into the looks as most of you here :P

now, if I were buying a new car or bent on getting a color I wanted, it'd prolly be silver, blue, or some derivative thereof.
