Front Mount Intercooler

I bought this intercooler and piping kit locally for cheap. I wanted to know if anyone has used it and has pics of it installed. im having a hard time imagining how the piping would go.

here's a picture for you.

or maybe you could just play around with it for a while and figure it out for yourself. seriously though, none of us know what kind of system that is, but it can't be much different than the hundreds of other kits out there. look at some other pics and figure it out.

i did with no luck. idk if i just got a bad kit from ebay and nothin lines up or if im doing this shit backwards. I know the clamps they give you suck balls and i deffinitly dont have all the silicone couplers i need. It doesnt seem to me like this piping kit would ever work but maybe im wrong someone send me pics so i can see. Ive looked everywhere. I found one forum where someone was selling this piping a while ago for like 400 bucks it was much better quality the thread was very old the pics all had broken links so i couldnt see them installed

well if your kit is exactly like that i bet the painted pipes is your hot pipes and the chorme ones are cold. all you have to do is just trial and error just set the pipe by the TB and see if it bends the correct way. its not that hard no need to make a thread on it.

This looks so shady hahahhaah

I agree with above, the chromed pipe looks like its the cold pipe and you rotate it at the second couple to aim it towards the TB

Obviously you are gonna need more pipes than the ones in that pic

if its an S14 kit, those are definately not the pipes you will get.
thats just some generic ebay FMIC kit in the picture

To me it looks like it's for an S13 with T25 turbo. If it was for an S14 then the upper right colored pipe (which I assume would be the hotpipe) would be a lot shorter. It also looks like the upper left pipe and the bottom right one should be switched around, so the colored one is the upper cold pipe. This is just with using my imagination trying to help out...sorry but like EJ253 said I think it's more of a generic piping kit. Switching around the pipes like I mentioned is what I would do. That's the only way I see it working... if you have an S13. If you have an S14, I don't have any advice for you.

Maybe its not for s13 the bends dont make sence along with the lenght of a few pipes...the top chrome pipe is smaller at one end maybe being the end that goes from hotpipe to fmic with the other chrome pipe...the hot pipe dosent work either its missing the 90* bends that would go down to turbo and first fmic pipe, also this pipe most likely wouldnt be a 90* pipe maybe more of a 45*...the last u shaped blue pipe would have to be more or less the same shap as the chrome one but thats not even perfect for that....
thats my .02

i see what your saying. But i think that 90* bend has an angle in it but who knows this guy might have just found a pic of an ebay i/c and posted it it might not even be for a 240.

ayyyy thats for a 240. Problem with that pic is they make it look like the 2 chrome pipes go together and they dont. I know how the piping goes its just there not enough for everythign to connect i jut wanted to see if maybe i was missing somthing or if anyone else has the pipping and has made it work. The 2 blue pipes are the upper pipes and the chrome are the lwer ones. The cold side makes sence the blue pipe goes from throttle body to lower chrome pipe and then to intercooler but the other side just comes up short

Now that you have showed a better pick i now see how it goes.
the pipe on the top right is your hotpiownpe(you can tell because it has a bov flage) the other pipe on the top left is what connects to the hotpipe and goes down therw the car(thats why it gets small to go therw that little hole under were your airbox uset to be). Those other two are cold pipes.the one on the lower right is the pipe that goes into the t/b( you can tell because it has a nipple for a vac line). And hell you should know where the other one goes it connects the cold pipe to the i/c. if you follow those directions it will fit or that intercooler is not the same as the one in the pic. also remember if its a bottom mount the hot pipe goes right above the turbo not off to the rght of it. And if you have a ka and the cold pipes dont match up perfect then that kit could be for an sr.

I bought a cheap intercooler and pipe set once before and the pipes didnt even come close in any combonation to lining up properly. good luck. you might have to cut and reweld (or have someone) them to fit properly.
