I didn't take ANY pics.

Had a good time though (until we came home, but that was another story).

Got hooked up at the D-max booth.

Wish I had more money.. Koguchi Power hoods were 25% off!

Found the next color I'll be painting my car (if I ever do).

Went to Up Garage after and got hooked up there too.

Fuck JAF.

Also, did anyone else see that carbon fiber wheel at the Weds booth? Fucker was like 2.7kg. 6lbs. 18x9.5 etc.
So badass.

This seat has inspired me to do some furniture design this year. I have a coffee table designed allready, just need a player chair to go with it.

Wow, like the orange on the GTR, not too crazy but just perfect.

Yeah that seat pattern is great, would kill to have a set of seats like those.

Nice to see the white jzx100 mark2, too bad they are doing more exterior parts for those car since everyone is starting to dump working of the vvti 1jz

has gas prices risen over in japan? or economy issues? thats the only reasons I can see for the car market dying out there

had to show the jzx100 love lol... that markII was a grande too haha... 2jz-ge
vvt-i is teh ghey (for my budget anyway)) cams/tuning,exhaust manifolds... EVERYTHING a bit more expensive than non vvt-i models... IF/WHEN i get my 100 cresta... it will have a non-vvt-i motor... shit thats what Yubo's 100 has in it haha... a 90 motor

gas over here is about 160Y per liter for high octane/premium... so thats what in gallons... im too lazy to convert... on base regular (for us 93oct) is 3.00 /gal

ive seen it happen to alot of different things over the years. paintball for example, the magazines they print now look the EXACT same as they did when i was buying them almost 10 years ago. seems like they're starting to reach their cap in the automotive world as well.

now by no means am i saying this is the only reason, (or a reason at all) its purely speculation from my point of view. it just seems that there is only so much you can do with a car before it becomes redundant

ehh i have to agree to to a point about vvti stuff

I just saw the amuse car a while back and the work they did using the vvti and wow is what it gave me... to get near 500whp out of a GT30 (small ar like 64 i believe) and have massive response thanks to the cams and the rest of the bolt on work was nice.

too bad it does not get much attention as the s14/s15 notchbacks got

but sounds like things in terms of the economy of fuel are still the same out there....

but yeah, going 2jz no vvti out there is easy and cheap... sucks to own a vvti supra/aristo then.

dude that is exactly what we were saying the whole time there.
cars in the parking lot that were driven there were cleaner than alot of the cars that were on display.

HIGHLY disappointed at the cars this year. First time there since 2003....

Was good to see the major shop cars, but some of the lesser shops cars were just not worthy.

Friggin decal job on one of the HKS cars looked like they did it the night before TAS, in the parking lot...

Nice Pics L.A. You know, I dont care if it was crappy or not, I would loved to have the opportunity to go this year. I did get the Jan issue of Dori Tengoku off of ebay. I guess that will have to hold me over till I get back to the Motherland!
