![]() so i just installed my a/f guage all wire hooked up except for one.. the signal wire that allows the guage to read the o2 signal..is it best to splice into the o2 wire itself or spice in to the harness that connects to the ECU???

get a wideband, i know they are expensive but dont you think its better to have something that actually helps instead of having a disco show or a rave party inside you car?

Get it from the ecu harness, close as possible to the ECU.
If your tuning you need a wideband, but for wot you'll know if you go lean at 4grand cause your blinkity blink blink light show will tell you. Anything between idle and full throttle just add music

yeah, you can install your a/f gague to compliment your collection of boost, oil pressure, oil/water temp gagues to make it look pretty. on a narrowband o2 sensor, just like stated above, can only tell you if you are rich or lean. the condition of your spark plugs can tell you that. a/f on narrow band are useless, but those full swepp LEDs look pretty cool tho.

So I know I am running lean, but I am wondering where/when. Will a narrow band be at least accurate enough to tell if it is leaning out on boost or before? I have one laying around...may as well.

Exactly. A narrow band O2 sensor reacts so quickly you won't have time to monitor it. Get a wideband, learn it and love it.
