Ok, here it goes. Is there such a thing as an SE with 4-lug and no white face gauges? because my dad is a sales manager at a car dealership and he says he has an SE on the lot, but its 4-lug and has black face gauges? he also said ne ran the VIN and it came up as an SE??!!

If it's in the United States, then no, it's not an SE... if it's Canada, then that's a different story.

If you wanna make sure, just get the VIN # and check it, here's a link that explains how to check if it's an SE or not.

i'm in canada. &nbsp;i think they existed in both canada and the US, but only in 95 and 96

BIG DIFFERENCE... In the US for 95-96, base model was just &quot;240sx... base model&quot; &nbsp;in Canada, the base model is called the SE... and the top end model is the LE (yes.. for 95-96 240sx)

Here in the states, the SE is the top of the line model with 5 lug and white gauges.. No LE model for 95-96..

97-98... &nbsp;SE and LE in the states is same #### thing only with leather and one or two more standard things. &nbsp;

BadMoJo, u in the US? &nbsp;Turn that bitch on and see if it has daytime running lights... Also, look in the door and look for the maple leaf (yeah. . it was on my S13 hehe) also.. are the measurements (weight, so on) in metric or english? &nbsp;

Well what your dad has on the lot is just a base model with a se emblem on it...if you look at the nissan catalog the se's are 5 lug and come with the se 16&quot; alloys and white face gauges

thats what i figure. either its canadian (which i doubt) or some fool put an SE badge on it.

if its canadian, look for a speedo with kph as the larger numbers and mph smaller. &nbsp;if he changed that too, then the only other way to tell is to check the vin and find out what dealership originally sold that car

But... It doesn't matter at all to us what u have . . 'cause do we leave our cars stock? &nbsp;=) &nbsp;I have an LE... what am I gonna do? replace all the parts that make it an LE haha. . what's the point. . =) &nbsp;

Well if it was canadian, prolly wouldn't have the KM/H speedo... &nbsp;Mine didn't.. it was converted, I think u have to do it? &nbsp;I dunno. . I wouldn't have. . hehe. .

Also.. the maple leaf in the door is a giveaway, and the measurements (weights, etc) being in metric.

yea se in u.s. came with &nbsp;tweeters in the panels on sides of windsheild and stock spoiler. &nbsp;factory amps in the truck under back deck. &nbsp;16s, cd player, white guages.. &nbsp;so it must be canada
