i hit a curb once, bent the lower control arm, tore the subframe where the control arm bent up into it and busted my axle but you couldnt tell just from looking at it, it actually pushed the u joint through the metal casing under the boot so i had to replace everything, was a good time to upgrade

spent like a 100 bucks at the junkyard for a subframe and control arm, got another axle from my buddy for free and then upgraded to rucas and toe rods, and did subframe collars while i was at it

$500... that will get you a complete rear subframe off an r32 that will bolt right up. also gives you a viscous lsd and 5-lug hubs and rotors. same brake setup as a z32

if you're strapped for cash at the moment, junkyard is the way to go. you'll find everything you need for dirt cheap. i had to replace some stuff on my passenger side, after my car decided to kiss the curb. new parts are costly.
