so ATI is like almost 3 times the weight of the unorthodox one?

Isn't lighter better though?

in some cases yes. but did you read the rest of the thread???

the fluid dampener helps keep crank vibrations to a minimum at higher rpms. even the most precisely balanced crank..will have vibrations at high rpms. the fluid dampener can help prolong the life of your engine, helping control vibrations and lessening bearing damage. granted you wont get the 5 extra hp as if you used an aluminum pulley, but personally, i'd much rather have that piece of mind-rather than an extra few ponies that i could get elsewhere.

when the time comes that i want to replace the stock pulley, i wont even look at anything else besides a fluid dampener....but thats just me, i care about my engine.
