yeah, imma get in there tomorrow and start yankin on shit to see whats goin on.. its annoying and i dont wanna mess anything up... im sure it wont be too hard to figure out.

I had this problem after I installed new shocks. Turned out the nut on top of the strut piston (the one that holds the whole deal together) wasn't tightened down.

Give that a shot first, since you don't even have to jack up the car.
