coilover noise, jiggle thing? blown?

hey dudes, i searched and didnt really come across anything like this... but i have kei office coiovers, and the driver side rear coilover, makes this wierd nose when i go over bumps, or even if i firmly press right above that wheel to compress the suspension quickly, if sounds and fells like its loose or something.. is this a possible signh of being blown? i havent gotten under there yet and giggled stuff around, but im just wondering what it could be... but sounds loose and like it is just giggling around... thanks for any helpful adcise in advance.

I dunno, bad pillow ball.. Spring isn't being supported.... If it was blown you'd hear like a squishing noise cause by air pockets in the oil..

Take the damn thing up and push down on it and see if it comes back up...

I had this problem after I installed new shocks. Turned out the nut on top of the strut piston (the one that holds the whole deal together) wasn't tightened down.

Give that a shot first, since you don't even have to jack up the car.

Most likely it is the nut on the shock shaft that is loose.

well i found out what was the probable cause if the noise... someone (i just bought this car 3 days ago) tightened one of the bolts on top foen too hard... and i went to barely tighten it just to see if it was snug, and the fuckin thing snapped off... so now i have 1 bolt, and the strut bar holding it in im guesssing... everything else seemed good tho... highly doubt its blown... so i guess ill just replace the bolt and nut and it shouldbe cool hopefully. idk?
