i don't know about cheap, but you can go on ka-t.org to savage some parts on their FS or WTB threads.

Friend of mind have the AMS kit.. He swaped out the SR and change to KA N/A for DD. Will is not fast... then turbo.. but still if you plan for a DD I think the kit on AMS is pretty good. I am also about to rebuild my KA maybe with T not sure... will KA N/A still fun.
