The only way to know exactly what is going on in your engine with the oil you use is to send in a sample in to be analyzed. Blackstone labs is a good place to start.

If you're serious about the fluids in your car, join bobistheoilguy and start reading!

Not trying to jack this thread but... I used lucas in my friend's S2k w/160k miles on it and it basically did that the test did. After the first 50 miles and the car going through stop and go stuff it starting wanting to died out when it was at a idle. When I check and looked at his oil it was bubbling! Changed out the oil and everything was fine after.

My other friend loves lucas and never had a problem with it. But both the car he used it is at +200k miles on them. One was a Integra B18 LS and the other was S13 KA and he ran the shit out of them.

My believe is if your motor is clean and running fine don't use lucas. If your motor is having some lil problems with it run it but if it starts acting weird change it right out.

Mods: I'll start a new thread if this goes on. Sorry.
