A buddy of mine just picked up a 5speed tranny and fixins' to swap into his auto s14. His car is a 95, and the tranny is from a 96. We're wondering if, since his car is obd I, he can just throw the tranny in and go, without it throwing any codes or anything. I looked at the faq, and that seems to be the case, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!
