Honestly, if you can't work on a car yourself, you are getting in WAY over your head piecing together a custom turbo setup. Little things will crop up here and there, and you'll probably need to mess with things here and there to get it "perfect."

The 15 hr quote someone else mentioned sounds about right if you bring them EVERYTHING they need and everything fits together perfectly(that's rare). 15 hrs * $65/hr(assuming you find a "cheap" shop) = $975. You develop problems down the road they are NOT going to work on it for free.


If you think a high mileage KA is guaranteed to last forever at 15 psi you are also deluding yourself.

thx for all the suggestions you guys. yeah, i guess in the end, i'll have to do it myself with the help from my friends. haha.
