nice...thats what i play too, and a bit of classic poker...i guess 5 card...i used to play at hawain gardens, and at hustler when i was in LA, right now there is only a card room here in Santa Cruz, but its a bit too pricey to play here, even though i am up playing here

buddy of mine has a table, we play a bit. sometimes i go to one of the casinos around here, Ameristar has a pretty active poker room. i've been meaning to go to Lumiere Place, that place looks pretty badass...

i haven't played online since college, though.

I used to play online a lot.

Still too young to go down to the strip and hit the casino's.

I should get back into it. I'm fairly decent. Although I'm that guy who ALWAYS gets beat by donks on huge pots.

I remember i was playing a dude heads up for 50 and i had pocket aces under the gun. Flop comes out (2,5,8) I raise him three times the big blind, and the guy goes all in. I figured I had it so i called him. He has a 2 and a 4 in his hand. So I get excited thinking about the quick 50 bucks i just made. Turn gets layed down (8). I'm still good. Then the river (2)....this fucking guy hits trip 2's and takes 3/4 of my chip stack. That was the last time i played online.


I thought this was a neat hand that i happened to pull in a tournament.

I used to play online, but I'd rather play live up in Windsor.

Bad beats, huh? How about me having pocket rockets and my opponent having pocket 7's. Online tournament play. Flop gives both of us a set. Turn's a 7. The river doesn't matter. My boat to my opponent's 4-of-a-kind. FANTASTIC!

Money maker? Live play at Windsor. I have pocket K's. The guy to my left goes all in (~$100). Everyone folds around and the guy to my right calls and flips over his cards before I make my move. WTF? The guy gets disqualified from the hand, BUT still has to call (~$100). Of course, I call. The guy on my right had pocket J's...so did the guy on my left. The flop comes and the guy draws dead. I made an easy ~$200.

ya we definetly should go...i havnt been in a while, played cash there twice and did alright, and then i tried on of those $30 dollar tourneys on the weekends that pretty much cost $50 with the add-on, because everyone gets it...and didnt make it far at all...not really worth it, since 1st place in about $600 or so, with about 30 ppl...

I've been playing poker since I was playing GI Joe's and Transformers. My family has always been big about getting together and playing poker for hours and hours. My grandma taught me how to play real young. More traditional poker though.

I'm not a real big fan of Texan Hold'em. It's way too serious for me. Playing poker with the family has always been about having a good time. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose.

I do love me some poker though...

The answer is yes to all of the above and also yes to me playing poker.

I don't have the time to go to the casinos to play as often as I would like these days. But it'll always be there.

I play when my friends are willing. Which with my last session with them, won't be to often anymore since they hate losing so bad. haha

We all started with 200 in chips (we don't play for money)... within 2hrs. I had well over 1,500 in chips. Best hand of the night was 4 Kings, but I only won 50 of it. I bluffed for my biggest winning of 200 at once. My friend folded with a flush when all I had was 2 pair.
