Quick Google search. It's that guy on the lower left. That's where the clutch fork 'pivots' to engage the clutch when you press the pedal.
There's usually very little to no need to ever replace these from my experience but they're relatively cheap and easy to replace - just threads - when doing a clutch job.

Actually there is...when you start running some super stiff clutches, you'll want to change these. Nismo sells them for a reason. Ive seen atleast 2 cars break the damn things after going to a single/twin plate clutches. Sucks dropping the tranny just to replace the POS.

That's true, hence the "very little to no need". I can count with one finger the number of people I know with single or twin plate clutches.

bullshit. i've personally replaced 2 broken pivot balls on stock clutch s13's with stock (intake and exhaust only) ka24de engines. both were daily driven/ street only, non-track or drift cars. they do break, and it IS a pita to drop out the trans, just to replace the ball. it sucks to hafta sell a customer 4 hours of labor to replace a $35 part.
