Best place to get Koyo KA radiator?

I am looking to replace my stock 20 year old (I guess?) radiator before I take the car to the track... would suck if I overheat and blow stuff up.

I saw phase2motorsports selling them as "KOYO Aluminum 240SX 1989-98 KA24/CA18/RB20/RB25DET" for 285.00+shipping but when I tried to order and get a shipping quote... it only allowed US states not Canada or any other country

Where can I get one for the best price... and notice I'm in Canada... Bings sells for 400$ shipped but imho i think it could be a little cheaper...

Well... I have quite a bit of ebaying experience but recently I'm trying to avoid it due to the MASSIVE surge off knock of garbage being sold on there... I don't want to buy such a vital item and get a knock off Yoyo (LOL) aluminum radiator. I'm just not so trusting of ebay anymore...

I have a trained eyes for these things but to be honest the latest batch of knock off stuff can be hard to distinguish and furthermore kind of hard to trust when you don't get as much communication as you would on a forum or that sort of thing (eg; not a credible vendor or someone you heard of).

Edit: Like just now I went on ebay and from simple search "koyo ka s13" or whatever I typed in... I got four different 'koyo' aluminum radiators. One has a logo, one has a logo with 'racing' on it, another has no logo, another has different packaging than the other. I've never owned a koyo aluminum radiator, so kind of hard to know even what to watch out for...

this one is real however it's the old version. the new ones say "KOYORAD" across the front in blue block with the red pedigree logo, and also imprinted with "koyorad" on the top.

I'd look into circle track radiators from summit or another place like that if I were you.

Koyo's are unnecessarily expensive. You really are paying a big premium for the name... Plus, if you're going to pay 300 for a Koyo, why not spend the little extra for a Griffin?

Ebay is your best friend when it comes to car parts. It's not too hard to distinguish the real from the fake on ebay. Just sort by price (highest first) and go down till you see the lowest of the high. Koyo also makes OEM replacement type rads which are on ebay (plastic end tanks, stock sized) which won't give you any significant cooling benefits.

Mishimoto seems to be pretty good. Most of those can be had for about $200 or a little less. I have one sitting in my shed right now. Quality looks good, i'm yet to see how it performs, but i've heard nothing but good things about them

May I suggest saving an additional $180 or so and getting yourself a Griffin Radiator.

Its what I use.

It's made in the USA so you don't have to worry about if its made in Taiwan or China. It's great quality and the great performing. I highly suggest it.

I don't work for them. I just truly believe in their product and thus letting you know about it.

I am at work so I didn't get chance to check all the links provided, however can someone give me more info on the griffin.

As I am not mistaken the KA rad is the same needed for an LSx V8 swap (im doing next year if all goes according to plan God willing).... so if thats the case, I don't mind the lil extra on something I can use and reuse for my next project... not too sure if im interested in the mishimoto (lmao isn't that the 'brand' of tires in fast and the furious 1 that are mentioned being equiped on the "bad guy's" civics lol)

I don't care about 'brand names' as long as the product is quality, optimal, does better than the rest or whatever, does the job straight up right...

What's the point of buying the exact poo from a generic source or tein source or microsoft source or HP source if its just poo one in the same with a fancy badge... but... at the same time how can I know All I've heard of amongst s chassis forums is koyo koyo koyo koyo and I remember they used to be quite cheap... now its just too much wtf?

wow... thats a monstrous difference (stock vs koyo side by side) amazing. The stock clutch fan should still fit I'm assuming. I don't want to run the electrics flexacrap fans...

for an SR i think it'd be close if KA should be ok
I'm sure they made it able to run stock Clutch fan

Electric fans arent that bad im running a single KIA fan works fine, with a back up ??Hyun-day?? (the Korean Car) I dont know how to spell it.

Keeps it really cool

Yes stock fan shroud should bolt right up.

You shouldn't have to modify anything.

You know after some reading... i am wondering who can hook me up with the dual core KA S13 Griffin ones.. i heard there's a 'drift spec' (eh?) also (more cooling prowess i suppose??)
