SR Exhaust questions. 3in Downpipe 2in Cat 2.25in muffler

Hello all, Before I put my SR into the 240sx I had an aftermarket muffler installed on it. The muffler has a 2.25in inlet pipe diameter and 4in outlet diameter and the core is 2.5in. Right now I have everything at 3in from the downpipe to the back for the SR, the only thing that's not 3in is the muffler inlet. What are my best bets here? get a 3in muffler? I have stock turbo, front mount intercooler and that's about it. No ECU mods or MAF or Injectors for now.

Thanks

Leave it alone for now. As long as the downpipe bolts up to the cat, exhaust should be the last thing you worry about.

That's the last thing I'm worried about and that's why the question . I'm going to put it in as is with the 2.5in muffler and see what happens then.

Thanks.
