Diff leaking

I had my Nismo 1.5 installed in an open pumpkin by a reputable differential shop.

I broke it in following the guidlines the lsd came with, no leaks.

I changed the oil, and checked it the next day. There was a drop of oil on the diff cover.

I checked the front, and axels they are dry, the rest of the cover seemed fine so i tightend up the diff cover bolts a little more by hand and checked the oil level which was fine.

I drove it again for 5-6 miles and stopped to check and it was dry. The next day I had 1 drop of oll in the same spot as last time.

I do not think I overfilled it, and if I did would it come out of the breather?

I am pretty close to just pulling out the diff and redoing the gasket with the OEM one, the diff shop refused to use the OEM gasket for the cover.
Instead they used a clear/white gasket sealant instead. Help?

I wouldn't worry too much with just a couple drop. I had silicon sealant in mine and they work great. You can always pull it out and reseal.

If you do take it out, check the breather and make sure it is clean.

There's nothing wrong with using gasket sealant/maker instead of the OEM gasket. If you're really not happy with a drop of fluid every couple days, take the diff out, clean the mating surfaces of the cover and the housing, and re-do the gasket (with the diff supported by jackstands/etc, driveshaft end facing down, so you don't have empty out all the 'new' fluid) using RTV silicone or the OEM gasket.
