Kirk Racing 6 point cage, opinions?

I have heard good things about their 4 point rollbars, but have no info on their bolt in cages. My main concern is fitment. My car will be used for local DriftDays, and I need door bars in order to do tandem. I DO NOT want a full weld in cage mostly because the car is still street driven a lot and my life or my passengers life is not worth risking for the performance of a vehicle. With that said if you have any info or feedback on their cages please let me know and if you have pics that would be even more helpful. It will be going in an S14 WITHOUT sunroof.

I think he means 6 pt with 2 pts being door bars. No forward down tubes as they're called that run by your head.

I'm planning on going with a Kirk Racing 4 pt rollbar if my friend is too lazy to fab up one for me. I've heard good things about them from other S13/S14 guys and E36/E46 BMW guys. Weld in bars/cages are better, but the Kirk bar is good as far as bolt-ins go.

no its has downbars, a windshield bar and door bars.

nwmrkt,
Correct, I was only planning on running the front section for events, not daily driving.

Sounds like a PITA, but I suppose it's doable.

It's not very common to take parts of a cage in and out frequently, so I doubt you'll find many doing that.

My brother just got the 4-point cage with x-bracing for his s-14. (I believe I have all the info correct) So I will ask him to chime in on this. He is going to install it either tonight or tommorow. If I have my info correct, he will be more than willing to give you feedback on fitment.

what is the best for a S13? Kirk Racing only seems to make them for S14?
