I've got a 96 240sx and lately it will run hot, idle 400 rpm's higher than normal, and finally the 2nd fan will kick on...Nissan dealership says that it sounds like the coolant temp. sensor isn't working right so it doesn't realize the car is running hotter than normal til it's really hot...so since the parts weren't much i bought a new Thermostat and Temp Sensor...I figure the thermostat will be an easy install, but where is the temp sensor and how easy is it to install?? Any info will be appreciated.

Not exactly sure on your model, but the temp sensor is usually located very close to the thermostat since it senses the temperature of the coolant inside the engine. Hope that is of some help.
