i spliced into power transistor pin 1 on my 91 240sx ka24de harness.

i'm getting a reading of about 100 and it won't change if i apply throttle.

does anyone know how to get it to read? i can change the crank offset so to make it read up to +/-60, but it doesn't move at all. do i need to tap in another wire? maybe crank position wire or something??

someone told me that ignition signal doesn't work on ka, but i'd like to know for sure.
