LMAO!!! STOP, YOUR KILLING ME!!!
But to be purely serious here, you gave him the expensive version... Now I knew better than to care what OBX coilover cost after the number of people that broke their short throw shifters steered me towards keeping the long throw til I could afford a B&M, but if money is an issue and he needs suspension He should:
1- RETURN The OBXs
2- Slap the person that suggested them
3- make a decision, does he (a)HAVE to have coilovers or does he (b)just want a suspension
3.01- If (a) is true, and you want to same some dough for quality, Ground control is te best to be had for the money they cost, you will still need struts, buy the KYB AGXs if you need something adjustable, GR-2s will be fine and won't crap out, but I don't suggest keeping the stock ones in... If (b) is true, just go get some lowering springs, you can get just about any spring made for our cars for less than 200 bucks. For the full effect, still buy the struts.
