Jdm s14/s15 brake upgrade for s13 q's BMC

Hey, I have been piecing together my 5 lug which I got complete from a jdm s14, abs front hubs with 30mm 4 pot calipers and the rear is just regular s14 se like we have I believe. knowing immediately the 4 pot fronts must require a larger bmc, I found out the Jdm s14/s15 came with a tokico BM50 brake master cylinder with a 1" cylinder diameter iirc.

This BMC is only made RHD I believe, so I need to know if there was any other ABS BMC that is 1" and fits on a s13? I figure if i can match the size I should be ok.

any z's come with a 1"?
Its hard to search for this because 1" keeps getting omitted in the search

if your rock'in just the fronts its NOT necessary to run the 300z BMC.

The stock BMC should be fine unless you decide to do the Z rears too.

You want the one of the Z31 15/16" BMCs if you're only running the front 4 pots.

dunno,

I'm Running EVO IX 320mm Rotor And 4-pot Caliper And Stock S14 Rear Brakes....And Auto Boster And Stock BMC..

The Balance Is ok...but i Just Swaped My Endless Stock Replacment Pads Instead Of Ceramic Pads that only lasted 2 months of dd And 2 Track days...

So I don't Think You Need Bigger MC Unless You have Z rear Brakes...

Hope This Help,

Ali

Violently incorrect. ALL Z32s sold in the US were equipped with ABS.

If you want the right split point and stock like feel, the setup below is what you want.

Per the thread I linked you to.
Quote:
SR20DET specs(s14 Silvia & 200sx EU,AUS):
bore diameters: w/out ABS 15/16, w/ ABS 1"
split point: same for w/out ABS & w/ABS=569 psi X.04 reducing ratio
brake booster model/size: w/out ABS M23 or G23/ 9.06in., w/ ABS M195T/primary 8.07in., secondary 7.09in.
As for part numbers or a LHD BMC, your guess is as good as mine.

If I'd get rid of that ABS from the S13 and find a Z31 15/16" BMC, but that's just me.
